Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Veracity. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans on patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining the procedure and administering contrast when necessary.
- Position patients for the CT scan, select appropriate imaging techniques, and ensure technical quality of the scan.
- Enter and monitor patient data, perform quality assurance on CT equipment, and assist with accreditation applications.
- Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
- Take emergency calls within the department and may be required to work weekends and float to other locations as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
- Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
- Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT) or equivalent certification.
- Hospital experience.
- Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others to perform job functions.
