The Measurement Specialist will confirm that products align with design and quality standards by employing state-of-the-art scanning methods. This position is crucial for gathering essential data related to incoming materials, small parts, machined elements, and extensive fabrications.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Measurement Specialist should possess a proactive attitude and a strong analytical approach to deliver effective solutions for intricate, large-scale measurement assignments.
  • Conduct all necessary inspections as dictated by contractual obligations.
  • Accountable for the layout and measurement of components ranging from small to large scale, including fabrications and assemblies.
  • Responsible for generating reports using CAM2 software.
  • Tasked with interpreting technical drawings and developing measurement plans based on the specified designs.

Departmental and Location Specific Requirements

This position will primarily operate from Plant 1, with occasional travel to other company facilities as required by operational demands.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience utilizing Faro and/or 3D scanning technology.
  • Experience with CAM2 or similar software is essential.
  • Background in layout within the machining or fabrication sector is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational capabilities, including the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
