As a Clinic Care Coordinator at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations. This position involves managing all inpatient and outpatient clinic referrals, working closely with the administrative team to ensure compliance with revenue cycle policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient referrals and authorizations for inpatient and outpatient services
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely referrals
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of patient referrals and authorizations
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical or healthcare-related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in referrals and authorizations preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or technical school certification in medical billing and coding
