Curriculum Specialist

Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of the curriculum across Years 7-12, as determined by the Victorian Curriculum and VCAA.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor Heads of Learning to lead their teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Develop and improve processes, learning programs, and initiatives using evidence-based research to drive student outcomes.
- Analyze student data to inform decision-making, planning, and teaching practices, ensuring a student-centered approach.
- Conduct regular reviews of the scope and sequence of Years 7-10 curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards.
- Evaluate assessment and reporting practices and policies, identifying areas for improvement.
- Chair the Teaching and Learning Team meetings, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Coordinate work practices and semester reporting, ensuring seamless operations.
- Coordinate the subject selection process for Years 9, 10, and 11, ensuring student choice and academic rigor.
- Implement quality control processes for the Years 10 and 11 examinations, maintaining academic integrity.
- Contribute to the school's professional development program, staying up-to-date with best practices and research.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong understanding of curriculum design and implementation. They will be able to analyze data, develop innovative solutions, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to drive student success.
