ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Archery Technician plays a crucial role in guiding customers through the selection, installation, and troubleshooting of archery gear. This position emphasizes outstanding customer support, extensive product knowledge, and fostering a welcoming shopping atmosphere.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Delivers exceptional customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience
- Assesses and fine-tunes archery equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance
- Installs additional components on bows and provides hands-on demonstrations for customers
- Responds to technical inquiries and offers advice on equipment usage
- Ensures accurate pricing and inventory management
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bow assembly and setup
- Familiarity with bow components, accessories, and arrow configuration
- Proficient in operating necessary tools and equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
- Capable of lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds, with occasional heavier loads
- Skilled in operating machinery and navigating ladders as required
