About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Adjunct Faculty member to join our team at the Westchester Educational Opportunity Center (WEOC). As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Human Relations and Workforce Preparation to our diverse student population.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Human Relations and Workforce Preparation courses in a variety of vocational programs
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and retention
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in the field to be taught from a recognized college or university
  • One year of practical experience in the field
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to establish a rapport with students and maintain a supportive learning environment
Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching adult learners and at-risk populations is strongly preferred. Organization and detail orientation skills are also highly valued.
