We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical team.

Job Summary

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols and disposing of waste properly.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Document patient information and procedure details accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a cath lab or similar environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
