Flexible Shifts Available: Choose from various shifts, including 5-8 hour options, with schedules such as 8:30 AM - 5 PM, 10:30 AM - 7 PM, and 11:30 AM - 8 PM.
As a Surgical Technician, you will work under the guidance of the Operating Room Manager and Registered Nurses, performing essential surgical scrubbing and assisting duties to maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper care and maintenance of all surgical instruments and equipment.
- Maintain a sterile field and demonstrate a strong understanding of sterile and aseptic techniques.
- Possess knowledge of all equipment, instruments, procedures, and supplies utilized in the operating room.
- Exhibit visual and auditory acuity along with manual dexterity necessary for the role.
- Graduate from an accredited surgical technician program with documented experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the surgical field or a related area.
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills in English for patient care and documentation.
- Basic computer literacy is required for essential job functions.
