Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant or LPN to provide direct patient care, take vitals, and perform various clinical tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including taking vitals, patient history, and performing venipuncture, lab, and x-ray procedures.
  • Assist with referrals, patient phone messages, and other clinical tasks as directed by the provider and/or clinical supervisor.
  • Contribute to the assessment and re-assessment of patients, monitoring and documenting patient status, and participating in the development of the plan of care.
  • Perform various clinical procedures, including waived testing, bone density, and X-ray, as assigned by the physician, manager, or clinical supervisor.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely, and report suspected abuse and refer patients/families to appropriate health or social resources.
Requirements:
  • Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification/Registration, or 6 months of Clinic MA experience, or the ability to successfully complete the INTEGRIS Health Caregiver Placement Program (CPP).
  • 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
  • CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written).
Work Environment:

Moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals.

Must follow standard precautions.
