About the Role

Zurich North America is seeking an experienced Application Delivery Manager II to join our team. This is a hybrid role that will require working out of our Schaumburg North America HQ. The successful candidate will report to a VP Data Management within our Chief Data Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of finance-related applications in an agile scrum development environment.
  • Oversee people management activities, including HR management of a staff of technical professionals.
  • Lead the management of offshore and onshore testing and development resources.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and priorities are balanced.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of experience in Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex technical projects.
  • Experience with SQL querying, ETL development, and maintenance, as well as Agile scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage business stakeholders and expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with 3rd party application vendors.
  • Product Owner or Scrum Master background.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
