Job Title: Registered Nurse - MedSurg- Medical

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans, utilizing evidence-based practice and critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient safety and quality care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a culture of respect and empathy.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience in Medical Surgical nursing
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia (or eligible for multi-state compact)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
