Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the month-end and year-end close process, preparing internal financial reports, and investigating and resolving audit findings and account discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review internal financial reports, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger analysis.
  • Audit and Compliance: Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance, ensuring timely filing of annual reports, registrations, and office/firm licenses.
  • Financial Operations: Assist with insurance renewals, annual financial audits, and tax return preparations, as well as develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Accounting Systems: Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures, and perform other accounting duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience, with public accounting experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Desired Qualifications
  • Deltek and/or Prophix Software Experience: Experience with Deltek and/or Prophix software is highly desirable.
  • CPA or CPA Candidate: CPA or CPA candidate status is preferred.
