Senior Surveyor Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surveyor to join our team at IMEG Corp. As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing and leading multiple survey crews, providing technical guidance and support to survey technicians, and ensuring successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to survey teams, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to IMEG's Core Values.
  • Research and prepare detailed scopes, budgets, and schedules for surveying projects, ensuring compliance with IMEG's billing and invoicing standards.
  • Mentor and train survey technicians and other land surveyors, promoting professional development and growth within the team.
  • Provide surveying services and consultation to clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and minimizing IMEG's liability.
  • Implement effective practices, methods, and techniques for land surveying, staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.

Requirements:

  • Professional Land Surveyor License with at least 10 years of experience in land surveying.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of land surveying principles, methods, and software, including CAD and GPS surveying practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and construction documents, with a strong understanding of Caltrans format calculations and instructions.
