About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Transport Specialist to join our team at Hire Velocity. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of high-value assets and ensuring the security of our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guard and maintain the safety and security of our employees, vehicles, and assets at all times
  • Deliver or pick up valuables at customer locations
  • Dispatch personnel to ensure successful transactions
  • Remain alert and prepared at all times, watching for accidents that could result in a loss
  • Reconcile customer deposits and receipts of all valuables handled during daily business
  • Follow all applicable procedures, policies, and regulations relating to the safe and lawful carrying, handling, care, security, and use of firearms
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Guard liability and assets
Requirements
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Satisfy all applicable Department of Transportation requirements
  • A valid firearm permit is required
  • Ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses
  • Ability to maintain tactical procedures to ensure a secure environment
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete and maintain all required internal training applicable to the position
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous security experience in an armed environment
  • Military background
