We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at CRM Residential. As a key member of our property management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and reliability of our residents' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Tasks: Conduct regular maintenance checks, including changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and fixing leaky faucets.
  • Minor Repairs and Renovations: Perform minor repairs such as drywall patching, painting, and carpentry work, as well as assist with major repairs or renovations as needed.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the property's grounds, including lawn care, snow removal, and cleaning of common areas.
  • Tenant Support: Respond to tenant requests for repairs and maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inspections and Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues before they become major problems.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent education required. 3-4 years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position. Previous maintenance experience required.
  • Skills and Certifications: Must have experience in plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, cleaning, painting, landscaping, and general maintenance. Previous experience in commercial or multi-unit residential property is desirable. Experience level may vary due to the special needs of the property. Must maintain current license/certificate and/or specialized skills in at least one (or more) of the following building trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, fire protection, or mechanical.
  • Physical and Working Requirements: Ability to lift 55 pounds independently and support team lift with reasonable accommodations. This job involves walking and standing for long periods as well as stooping, squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing, and climbing. Working on ladders at varying heights. Possible contact with blood-borne pathogens and/or bodily fluids.
