About the Role

USPI is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Resurgens Fayette Surgery Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with our experienced medical staff to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
  • Support the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center, participating in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment, adhering to aseptic techniques and protocols.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited surgical technician program or at least two years of experience in a surgical setting.
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
