Position Overview:

The Senior Loan Processing Specialist plays a pivotal role in addressing inquiries via phone or email, assisting with intricate loan files and elevated concerns while ensuring exceptional customer service for valued borrowers, general agents, and brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily alerts from compliance systems to uphold adherence to customer identification procedures.
  • Process updates for Notices of Financed Premium (NOFP) as they are received; communicate any discrepancies to the respective agents.
  • Examine the check holding log and verify the reasons for any funding checks being retained.
  • Facilitate the booking of commercial, personal, and additional premium loans.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and modifications in the financial sector.
  • Participate in seminars and professional conferences as required.
  • Take charge of processing and funding for commercial, personal, and additional premium loans.
  • Ensure prompt release of funds and confirm that payments are dispatched to the correct recipients.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical capabilities to resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Basic mathematical proficiency.
  • Proficient in PC applications, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $22 and $27 per hour.
