**Job Summary:**

Cedar Fair is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at our Merchandise locations. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, operating a Point of Sale cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized retail environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist guests in retail locations by providing exceptional guest service and product information.
  • Engage in suggestive selling techniques to increase sales and enhance the guest experience.
  • Conduct sales transactions on a cash register and use cash handling skills to manage cash and credit transactions.
  • Receive and deliver cash funds from the Glory machine and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Clean and restock retail locations on a daily basis, including moving and organizing stock in the store and stockroom.
  • Report any concerns about stock, stockroom, and sales floor to the area Team Leader immediately.
  • Engage in observational loss prevention practices to prevent theft and maintain a secure environment.
  • Open and close assigned retail locations as needed.
  • Assist Team Leaders with other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Perform basic product presentation assignments to maintain a visually appealing and organized retail environment.

**Requirements:**

  • Ability to handle money and give correct change in U.S. currency with/without the use of electronic equipment.
  • Ability to acquire knowledge about products being sold at locations.
  • California Food Handlers Card at select locations.
