- Patient Care: Ensure that patient care is provided within a safe and healing environment, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and trust for patients, families, and staff.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to accomplish their objectives and fulfill their responsibilities.
- Quality Improvement: Monitor and improve the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
- Communication: Act as a liaison with other departments and teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years psychiatric experience and 1 year in a leadership capacity.
- Licensure: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
- Certifications: AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 90 days of hire.
- Education: MSN Degree.
- Certifications: Psychiatric - Mental Health Nursing or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Certification.
