Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Supportive Solutions Behavioral Health & Wellness, LLC. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with mental health conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric treatment, including assessment, diagnosis, and prescription of psychotropic medications to persons served.
- Provide medical management and therapy services, as needed.
- Meet agency productivity standards.
- Participate/lead multi-disciplinary teams.
- Responsible for documentation of client progress/outcomes in the progress notes, medication records, treatment plans, quarterly treatment reviews, and discharge summaries.
- Available for psychiatric urgencies or emergencies.
- Consults and coordinates care with team members.
- Attends staff meetings and serves on administrative committees as assigned.
Requirements:
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Connecticut with a specialization in mental health.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in mental health care.
