Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SharePoint Solutions Architect to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online to provide critical support for large customer environments.

About the Role

This position involves managing and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint infrastructures, migrating applications to SharePoint Online, and PowerApps. You will be responsible for providing support for Microsoft SharePoint 2019 architecture, including deployment, upgrade, and migration tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Microsoft SharePoint infrastructures
  • Migrate applications to SharePoint Online and PowerApps
  • Provide support for Microsoft SharePoint 2019 architecture
  • Assist in upgrading SharePoint farms and managing user profile synchronization
  • Troubleshoot advanced issues including site permissions, configurations, and general user support
  • Migrate applications to SharePoint Online and ensure smooth integration with the Power Platform
  • Deploy solutions developed by the team to SharePoint online and/or Power Platform
  • Ensure data security and governance, handling sensitive information and managing retention policies
  • Conduct performance monitoring, use tools like Event Viewer, and troubleshoot SharePoint site issues

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in SharePoint administration
  • Experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory (AD), ADFS, and related services such as DNS, SMTP, NLB, and Event Viewer
  • Experience with backups and restore of web application, administration of SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Data Gateway, SQL connectors, and API integrations for SharePoint and Power Platform apps
  • Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification is preferred

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $134,597 - $172,500. This is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and experience.
