We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join our legal team at NetBrain LLC. The ideal candidate will have a JD degree and several years of post-law school experience, with a strong background in commercial transactions and in-house counsel.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and advise on complex legal and business transactions, including licenses, partnership agreements, and channel agreements.
- Lead a business-focused legal function, contributing to the strategy of the business and driving performance.
- Influence and effectively manage timely and cost-efficient outside legal counsel services and expert advisors as needed.
- Support business operations and provide direction and counsel regarding compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Advise Human Resources on employment law matters to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Manage the intellectual property portfolio, including trademark and copyright registration and protection, and patent matters.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or its equivalent.
- Licensed to practice in at least one U.S. state or relevant jurisdiction.
- 3-6 years post-law school experience.
- Time in-house at a software or SaaS company preferred.
- Experience working on commercial transactions with a global sales team.
- Knowledge of GDPR and other data privacy laws.
We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary range of $140,000 - $160,000, bonus, and stock options. Our benefits package includes 401k, medical/dental coverage, and stock options.
