Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including ordering and administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition, and communicating with the healthcare team as needed.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- At least 1 year of ICU or main PACU RN experience, preferred.
