- Provide Basic Life Support: Administer basic life support treatments, such as CPR and first aid, as needed.
- Operate Medical Vehicles: Safely operate medical transport vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain Vehicle Readiness: Ensure that vehicles are properly maintained and equipped for emergency response situations.
- Document Patient Care: Accurately document patient care and transportation information for medical records.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an approved EMT training program preferred.
- Certifications: SC Emergency Medical Technician Basic certification, National Registry of EMT certification, and BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
- Experience: Pre-hospital care experience preferred.
This is a variable shift position, requiring flexibility to work a range of hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional patient care and transportation services.
