Overview
- Harrison French & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in healthcare-related projects.
- Take charge of engineering design processes across diverse projects while playing a pivotal role in guiding and nurturing junior engineers within the organization.
- Work in a remote capacity, focusing on critical healthcare facilities including hospitals, laboratories, and pharmaceutical environments.
- Manage the design of mechanical systems for sensitive environments, with a strong emphasis on HVAC, medical gas, and plumbing systems.
- Supervise projects from initial proposal through to construction completion, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints, timelines, and design standards.
- Collaborate closely with Electrical Engineers and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems and the preparation of construction documentation.
- Independently lead projects, showcasing expertise in HVAC, Controls, and Plumbing design.
- Ensure adherence to energy regulations and perform energy assessments utilizing Revit and Trane Trace software.
- Provide specialized knowledge in all facets of HVAC systems and related controls, as well as sewer, gas, and water systems.
- Mentor team members on company protocols, drafting methodologies, and technical details related to HVAC and plumbing.
- Work in conjunction with Architects to produce construction documents that meet client specifications.
- Establish project budgets, guarantee financial viability, and act as the Engineer of Record.
- Possess licensure in multiple states and be proficient in drafting specifications for various project categories.
