Compensation:

$65,000 - $75,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project leaders, designers, and architects to create detailed financial plans for upcoming initiatives.
  • Examine project specifications, architectural plans, and design documents to produce precise and thorough cost estimates.
  • Identify and incorporate all expenses, including materials, labor, and other costs, while considering market trends and supply chain issues.
  • Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive bids and ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Oversee project budgets throughout the construction phase, making necessary adjustments to maintain profitability.
  • Generate comprehensive financial reports and forecasts for senior management, highlighting potential cost-saving measures.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining cost estimation tools or advanced spreadsheets to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding budgeting, cost management, and financial strategy.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, trades, and clients to promote ongoing collaboration and business growth.
  • Ensure all financial plans align with company objectives and contribute to achieving revenue goals.
Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on budgeting, cost management, and financial planning.
  • Proficient in cost estimation software, spreadsheet development, and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to accurately interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction cost planning, quantity surveying, or a related discipline.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a similar field is highly preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and eligibility to work in the United States.
