We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. SQA Engineer to join our team at GCR Professional Services. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for testing and validating software applications used in the development of deep ultraviolet (DUV) light sources and modules.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute test plans to validate LabVIEW software applications used in Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supplier testing.
- Design and create test cases and procedures for testing software functionality, and execute these test cases.
- Maintain an auditable storage and retrieval of test results, and provide progress reports to engineers and management.
- Participate in the definition of software requirements, and analyze software requirements for completeness.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement root cause solutions for problems and issues.
- Configure and validate test equipment required to run test software applications, including test computers, data acquisition systems, cables, device drivers, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum of six (6) years industry experience developing software test plans, defining, developing, and implementing software test systems.
- Experience with software development process, software configuration management, and defect tracking (JIRA, SVN).
- Experience validating test equipment, including test computers, DAQ systems, I/O boards, interface boxes, cable systems.
- Strong programming skills, with experience in LabVIEW, Matlab, Python, C++, etc.
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience testing and using communication interfaces, including RS232, RS422, Ethernet (TCP/IP, UDP, TCP), SPI.
