Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with ostomy/draining wounds to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including rehab professionals, RNs, doctors, and social services, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Identify educational needs of nursing personnel and conduct in-services on ostomy, skin, wound, and fistula care.
  • Provide patient education on wound care products and participation in the plan of care.
  • Work collaboratively with other campuses as needed to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of nursing experience, with a focus on wound care.
  • Experience in enterostomal therapy is highly desirable.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
  • CPR certification.
