Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Shapell Properties Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our commercial properties, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs and replacements.
  • Monitor and adjust mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of maintenance funds.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our facilities remain competitive and compliant.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years combined experience in facility operations and commercial construction, preferably in retail real estate sector.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software systems and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
