DaVita Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in our outpatient dialysis centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Measure and record patient statistics, including vital signs and laboratory results
  • Set up and operate hemodialysis machines, ensuring accurate and safe treatment
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney disease and dialysis-related topics
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work a full-time variable schedule with rotating Saturday shifts
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical records
