Behavior Specialist Position

Futures Through Choices is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Support Specialist to provide behavioral support to individuals with various disabilities in the Northern Region. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field.

The Behavioral Support Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Conducting Functional Assessment Interviews to identify the root causes of behavioral issues
  • Developing comprehensive Behavior Support Plans to address individual needs
  • Collecting and analyzing behavioral data to inform support strategies
  • Training program staff on plan implementation and best practices
  • Visiting program sites to observe behavior and provide on-site support

The selected candidate will undergo a thorough background check before being selected for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement behavioral support plans
  • Provide training and coaching to program staff on behavioral support strategies
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of behavioral data and support plans

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field
  • Proven experience in behavioral support and analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
