Job Summary:
The primary objective of this role is to provide high-quality nursing care to patients, coordinate care with ancillary staff, and communicate effectively with physicians. As a member of the Tampa General Hospital team, this position contributes to the department's goals by being accountable for the delivery and coordination of patient care at a demonstrated level of safe practice and within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida State Board of Nursing and TGH policy. Along with other members of a care team, this role is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high standards of care provided by TGH.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide quality nursing care to patients, adhering to established standards and protocols.
• Coordinate care with ancillary staff, including physicians, to ensure seamless patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
• Degree in Nursing - Required.
• Current Florida RN Licensure - Required.
• Previous nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
