Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pool Equipment Specialist to join our team at Blue Science, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing our clients' pool equipment, ensuring their pools are safe and functional.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pool equipment repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues. You will work independently, managing multiple repair tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines.

We offer a competitive salary of $32.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement plan, and profit sharing.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of pool equipment to identify maintenance and repair needs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and plumbing.
  • Perform necessary repairs or replacements on faulty components, such as motors, valves, filters, and pool lights.
  • Install and configure pool equipment, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer service requests and inquiries related to pool repairs.
  • Keep accurate records of all repairs, documenting parts used and labor performed.
  • Always adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a repair mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge of pool equipment, including pumps, Chlorination & Salt Systems, filters, heaters, automation systems, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex pool equipment issues while on site.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple repair tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment when required.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED (preferred but not required)
