About the Role

Cepheid is a leading provider of diagnostic solutions, and we're seeking a skilled Virtual Territory Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our inside sales department, you'll be responsible for selling and renewing our products, systems, and services to customers in the Eastern time-zone Southeast territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead assigned accounts strategically to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth.
  • Prospect new accounts and prepare information for sales calls to secure new customers.
  • Research and understand territory growth opportunities to develop an effective business plan and sales strategy.
  • Maintain and develop strategic partnerships with key customers and leverage internal resources to achieve high customer satisfaction.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools to forecast business, lead customer opportunities, and make business decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience or Master's degree in a field with 3+ years of similar sales experience.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments and collaborating with Product Managers, Outside Sales, etc.
  • Comfortable working in a virtual environment, including video and phone calls, and various virtual technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Excel and Salesforce.
  • Experience working in a remote environment.
