Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects or specialized teams in the investigation and remediation of environmental contaminants, including soil, groundwater, and sediments.
  • Oversee field operations, ensuring effective sampling, drilling, well installation, and assessments related to environmental impacts.
  • Design and negotiate innovative remediation strategies for contaminated sites, utilizing both advanced and traditional treatment technologies.
  • Ensure project compliance with client expectations regarding scope, budget, and timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to team members and provide mentorship to junior staff.
  • Prepare technical proposals and engage in business development activities to foster client relationships and secure repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to enhance project outcomes.
  • Stay informed about and promote the adoption of cutting-edge techniques in site investigation and remediation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in project or technical management for complex environmental remediation projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Experience in environmental fieldwork and a valid 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification (P.E. or P.G.) or a desire to obtain such certification.
  • Local candidates are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated annual base salary for this position ranges from $87,360 to $98,209, depending on various factors such as education, experience, and performance. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
