The Civil Rights Investigator will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote equity and compliance.
  • Providing education and training sessions for the university community on civil rights issues.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

    • Experience in conducting investigations that involve interviewing individuals and assessing information for relevance.
    • Ability to maintain impartiality throughout the investigative process.
    • Strong writing skills for drafting clear and organized technical documents.
    • Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information.
    • Proven ability to build trust and rapport with colleagues.
    • Initiative in completing projects and enhancing departmental processes.
    • Effective communication skills with various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:
  • A graduate or professional degree in a related discipline.
  • More than two years of relevant experience, particularly in higher education or governmental settings.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized groups.
  • Experience in supporting international students or employees.

Additional Information
