Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Bus Driver to transport residents to and from scheduled activities and appointments. The ideal candidate will have a valid Missouri Commercial Drivers' license (CDL) Class A or B and Passenger Endorsement, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up and deliver residents to all scheduled activities and appointments where transportation is needed.
  • Complete a safety check of the applicable vehicle before transporting residents.
  • Accurately record vehicle mileage and resident attendance for all scheduled transportation.
Additional Duties
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out.
  • Transport vehicle(s) to service locations for routine preventive maintenance.
  • Notify supervisor of necessary repairs and vehicle malfunctions.
  • Immediately notify supervisor of resident concerns, problems, or incidents.
  • Makes miscellaneous runs for administration errands as necessary.
  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition.
  • Accomplish all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
  • Attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must possess a valid Missouri Commercial Drivers' license (CDL) Class A or B and Passenger Endorsement.
  • Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with residents at all times.
  • Must be able to interpret and follow map directions.
