HVAC Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Project Manager to lead our mechanical construction projects from conception to completion. As an HVAC Estimator and Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing entire projects, coordinating with diverse teams, and overseeing fabrication shop work packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage mechanical construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Coordinate with project teams, including engineering, VDC designers, schedulers, field foremen, customers, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee fabrication shop work packages, ensuring a clear grasp of content, including detail drawing review, material take-off, buyout, and man-hour fabrication budget.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Department to analyze, manage, and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Proactively plan, resolve issues, and ensure contractual conditions are met, while working with Senior Project Manager and team for mentorship and training.

Requirements:

  • ~5+ Years of HVAC Estimating / Project Management Experience.
  • A robust foundation in HVAC and/or Piping estimating and project management is essential.
  • ~ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • ~ Diverse Project Portfolio: Showcase your adaptability with demonstrated experience in a variety of project types, including higher education, government, healthcare, industrial, and commercial building projects.
  • ~ Estimation Expertise: Proficiency in estimating HVAC project costs, crafting cost estimates, reviewing plans and specifications, researching materials, reading blueprints, evaluating bids, and preparing proposals.
  • ~ Code and Specification Knowledge: Familiarity with energy codes and project specifications.
