Career Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team, working remotely to operate ROCC Magnetic Resonance operations at our centers across the country. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures, providing support to onsite positioning technologists, and ensuring seamless workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Imaging Expertise: Perform all general and advanced level imaging procedures, with proficiency in operating equipment safely and maintaining SimonMed standards.
  • Patient Care: Provide excellent patient care, interacting appropriately with patients, staff, and all care providers.
  • Technical Skills: Operate magnetic resonance scanners to obtain images used by physicians in diagnosis and treatment, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, and monitoring patient data.
  • Study Documentation: Maintain accurate study documentation, producing film records, and transferring images to storage media.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct and complete QA/QC checklists according to standard operating procedure, monitoring and correcting assigned NTT's.
  • Communication: Communicate with professionalism and patient care focus, being a point of contact for ROCC Positioners and onsite technologists for technical aspects of MRI.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in area of specialty (preferred)
  • Licenses/Certifications: MRI certification and registration, valid ARRT or ARMRIT certification, and valid 'Hands On' CPR
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in the field or related area

Work Environment: This role may require duties involving lifting up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, balancing, and stooping. Good visual and auditory acuity, good manual dexterity, and ability to be readily understood are essential. You must be able to work in an environment with multiple deadlines and priorities, managing stress while adhering to policies, procedures, and guidelines relative to departmental operations.
