Job Title: NICU Respiratory Therapist RRT

About the Role:

As a NICU Respiratory Therapist RRT, you will be responsible for administering and coordinating various treatments related to respiratory problems for patients of all ages. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide effective direct care to complex patients, communicate with team members regarding patient care updates, and respond to emergency and critical care situations. You will assess patients and take the necessary course of action, providing education and information as needed. This role requires a strong understanding of respiratory therapy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and coordinate treatments for respiratory problems in patients of all ages.
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide effective direct care to complex patients.
  • Communicate with team members regarding patient care updates.
  • Respond to emergency and critical care situations.
  • Assess patients and take the necessary course of action.
  • Provide education and information to patients and families as needed.


Requirements:

  • Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist (Respiratory Care Professional) in the state of Georgia.
  • Educational Requirements: Associates Degree.
  • Minimum Experience: None specified.
  • Other: Respiratory Therapy training through an accredited school and successful completion of registry examination.
