Job Overview

Position: Full Time Head Cashier

Role Summary: The Head Cashier serves as a pivotal team leader at the Front End of the store, collaborating closely with the Front End Manager to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by proactively addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Occasionally manage the Customer Service Desk, which includes the ordering and stocking of specialty items.
  • Oversee the performance of Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks to ensure adherence to all operational policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Front End Manager and Store Manager to uphold cash handling protocols.
  • Perform Cashier duties as required.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager or Front End Manager.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in basic mathematics, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
  • Excellent communication skills, along with effective team leadership and customer service abilities.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks that involve twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling.
