About the Role:

  • Perform failure analysis and engineering reviews to identify root causes of mechanical failures.
  • Develop and implement mechanical integrity controls to ensure the safe operation of industrial equipment.
  • Conduct risk evaluations and participate in on-site accident and incident investigations.
  • Oversee laboratory testing and conduct research and development to improve materials and testing methodologies.
  • Provide technical expertise to clients and stakeholders on materials-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in materials, metallurgical, or mechanical engineering.
  • Master's degree or PhD preferred.
  • Registered as a professional engineer.
  • 6-12 years of experience in materials engineering and testing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
