Job Summary

As an Agronomy Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in connecting rural America by transporting products from sellers to buyers, transporting supplies from production facilities to customers, and building long-lasting relationships with our customers and co-ops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely pick-ups and deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by treating customers professionally, greeting them promptly and courteously, and promptly handling all customer concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement, and hours of service.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles inside and out and work environments.
  • Complete and document daily maintenance inspections and ensure proper equipment maintenance, including repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, training, personal protective equipment procedures, and regulations.
  • Report all incidents, accidents, and traffic violations to supervisors immediately.
  • Enroll in and complete mandatory CHS random drug and alcohol testing programs and the Continuous Monitoring Program.
  • Assist operational staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Transportation and Logistics.
  • High School diploma or GED.
