Job Summary

As an Agronomy Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in connecting our customers with the products they need. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely pick-ups and deliveries, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and professional work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely pick-ups and deliveries to customers in a safe and professional manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, treating customers with respect and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement, and hours of service.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles and work environments.
  • Complete and document daily maintenance inspections and ensure proper equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Report all incidents, accidents, and traffic violations to supervisors immediately.
  • Enroll in and complete mandatory CHS random drug and alcohol testing and the Continuous Monitoring Program.
  • Assist operational staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain and procurement and/or transportation and logistics.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Maintain or obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to work additional hours, be available for overnight stays, and occasional weekends to meet business demands.
  • Valid Class A CDL preferred.
  • Hazmat, Tanker, Air Brake endorsements preferred.
  • Agriculture background preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Bulk liquid, pressure trailer, or forklift experience preferred.
