Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year (depending on experience)

As a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant at The Orthopaedic Center, you will play a critical role in helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses related to the musculoskeletal system. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy sessions;
  • Providing manual therapy techniques, such as massage and stretching, to promote relaxation and flexibility;
  • Using specialized equipment, like ultrasound machines and electrical stimulation devices, to aid in the healing process;
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient progress and communicating effectively with healthcare teams;
  • Collaborating with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited School of Physical Therapy program;
  • CPR certification;
  • The ability to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully, with frequent use of forceful exertion during treatment;
  • Frequent moving, pushing, pulling of heavy patients and/or equipment, as well as constant standing and walking;
  • Agility and the ability to work efficiently in space-limited areas;
  • The capacity to work under pressure, possessing outstanding organizational, verbal, and writing skills;
  • Independence, motivation, initiative, and self-discipline;
  • A proven positive, teamwork attitude in work history.
