Position Overview
The RNG Plant Supervisor will oversee on-site operations and provide technical management for a renewable natural gas facility.

You will report directly to the Director of RNG Service Delivery and will be accountable for all operational aspects and personnel management at the facility.

Your role will also involve assisting with the final phases of biogas facility construction and startup, as well as commissioning and safely operating equipment for all production processes within the facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the facility to ensure all production, financial, and safety objectives are achieved.
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure the project aligns with design specifications, budget constraints, and timelines. This includes liaising with utilities, local authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide technical guidance, including interpretation of schematics and recommendations for construction methods and equipment.

- Implement and uphold stringent quality control measures.
- Assist the Amp Americas team in developing and executing project procedures, management tools, and standards.
- Review and assist in the development of change order requests to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Commission, test, and operate the facility post-construction to ensure it meets Operation Acceptance Tests (OATs).

Safety and Compliance
- Learn, understand, and adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Hold yourself and others accountable for safe operations, utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE), and actively engage in regular safety training and assessments.

Operational Excellence
- Safely operate production equipment and systems for all products manufactured according to established protocols.
- Monitor the efficiency of production processes through computerized systems and visual inspections of large, potentially hazardous equipment.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the sequence of plant operations, the implications of control systems, and the interdependencies of various processes.

- Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of team members.
- Assign and evaluate the work of direct reports, ensuring effective task delegation among plant operators, including quality checks and troubleshooting.

- Conduct regular inspections of the facility, identifying and addressing equipment and process issues.
- Perform quality-control tests and maintain accurate logs as per established procedures.

- Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
- Interpret company policies for plant operators and enforce safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to problem situations and directives from management.

Qualifications
- Associate degree, vocational technical diploma, or equivalent technical experience (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a process production environment or the natural gas sector, with a solid understanding of process flow.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical equipment.

- Familiarity with basic handheld instruments and proficiency in computer skills for data entry and spreadsheet navigation is highly desirable.
- Experience with CMMS systems is required; proficiency in Fiix is preferred.
- Gas compression experience: 10+ years; manufacturing and operations experience: 5+ years.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and climb ladders up to 35 feet high.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and performing maintenance duties proficiently.
- Willingness to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights as needed.
