Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work as a Traveling Interventional Radiographer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of complex specialized tasks using radiographic equipment.
- Assist radiologists in performing exams and provide clinical excellence.
- Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
- Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak, and other clinical systems.
- Ensure that relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
- Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
- Independent decision-making skills.
- Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
- Meet all local health regulations and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
At least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
