Position Overview

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a qualified Travel Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care in various settings. This role requires a dedicated professional with a commitment to patient safety and quality service.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS: Basic Life Support
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • State License Verification: Required
Job Specifications
  • CRT or RRT Accepted: Candidates must hold either certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an RRT.
  • SICU Experience: 2 years required.
  • Licensing: Ohio RRT license must be current and available.
  • Scheduling: All requests for time off and scheduling must be communicated during the submission and interview process.
Essential Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • 2 years of experience in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU).
  • Current Ohio RRT license is mandatory.
Schedule and Unit Information
  • All requests for time off and scheduling must be clearly communicated during the submission and interview.
  • Unit-specific competency exams and skills checklists are required.
Additional Considerations
  • Must possess a valid government-issued photo ID while on assignment.
  • Required certifications may vary based on department needs.
  • Current NBRC certification is necessary for both CRT and RRT candidates.
  • Competency exams specific to the unit must be completed within 12 months of starting.
  • TB test results are required to complete onboarding.
  • A pre-employment physical must be conducted within a year of starting.
  • Fit Mask certification is required within 12 months of starting.
  • Negative TB test results must be obtained within 6 months of starting.
  • A criminal background check is mandatory.
  • Two satisfactory pre-employment references are required.
  • Application must include a comprehensive work history for the past 3 years.
