Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Shift Supervisor to oversee the Anatomic Pathology section of our laboratory. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Histology and experience in supervising laboratory staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage laboratory staff, ensuring efficient and effective workflow
  • Perform various laboratory tests and procedures, including biological, chemical, hematological, immunological, immunohematological, microbiological, and serological tests
  • Develop and implement new procedures, and assist in the development of new equipment and technologies
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback and training to laboratory staff
  • Collaborate with other laboratory teams to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality results
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in Immunohistochemistry
  • ASCP certified as either a Histotechnologist (HTL) or Histotechnician (HT)
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, or a chemical, physical or biological science
  • Three (3) years medical technology experience required
  • Supervisory experience preferred
