Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Lean Material Flow methodologies across the manufacturing site and associated warehouses.
  • Conduct and maintain time studies specific to the materials team within the plant.
  • Develop and uphold standard operating procedures for the materials team.
  • Analyze cost reduction initiatives through Industrial Engineering principles.
  • Oversee layout designs for supply chain-managed areas.
  • Facilitate and monitor Lean Assessments and Value Stream Mapping activities.
  • Establish local Continuous Improvement Requests (CIRs) and develop project plans based on findings from Supply Chain Engineers.
  • Manage and enhance 5S and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) programs for warehouses.
  • Track and analyze Supply Chain KPIs, implementing corrective measures when necessary.
  • Identify and participate in initiatives aimed at cost savings and waste reduction.
  • Ensure optimal warehouse conditions and validate replenishment processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing.

OR

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing.

OR

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience with time study methodologies, particularly MOST.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in unionized workplaces.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and transportation processes.
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in project design, execution, and sustainability.
  • Experience in conducting Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Yard Management Systems (YMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
